Vessel is built of Corten steel, 1" on keel, 3/8" on bottom, and 3/16 on hull sides. Eleven (11) foot stern extension and bulbous bow (with hydraulic bow thruster) added in the 1990's.
Vessel is a steel two masted Barkantine. The interior of the vessel is custom Butterwood, a light hardwood completed by European cabinetmakers. There is double stateroom forward, aft and to port is a sink. The main saloon has options with two separate tables, one berth to port, two single berths to starboard and port with a diesel stove, sink & food storage. Access to the main deck next to the galley or companion way through the engine compartment continues to the chart room. Skipper’s berth to port & head with shower. You step up to the wheelhouse with a complete electronics package. On deck there is a 14' jib boom, hydraulic anchor winch. ample lockers on deck provide storage for rope, anchors, & ships running gear. A large manual bilge pump is next to the main mast. Aft of the wheelhouse, the 11' extension is an open deck which could be used to expand interior space in the wheelhouse. Ample storage space below deck. This vessel would be ideal for extended trips to the north for a small tour operation or scientific group. Vessel has been well maintained and in excellent condition. Masts, booms, & jib boom are aluminum.
