Vessel was built by leading New Zealand builder for a Hong Kong buyer. Current owner did a complete refit from 2001-2005 including new engine, generator, three water tight bulkheads, new pilothouse and modified transome, three fuel tanks, center 400 liter and two wing tanks of 700 liters each. Hull is 5000 series aluminum with 7.5 mm below water line. Pilot house windows are 1/2" Lexan Margaurd with 1/4" Lexan interior panes in front. Side windows are Marinelite tinted, Coast Guard approved.
Layout has master stateroom forward, second private cabin aft to port, two workstations opposite, head with shower to starboard. Galley is amidships with steps up to the large enclosed pilothouse. Aft is a roomy cockpit with large wheel and stern davits for RIB.
Bermudian fractional rigged cutter has furling sails forward, new main, and spinnaker. New halyards and electric winch recently added for halyard and main sail reefing.
The vessel just completed an Atlantic circumnavigation, and is ready to go again. It is set up for short handed sailing to high latitudes in comfort and safety.
